After 30 years as a hairstylist and 14 years since opening uraura, what I feel now is very simple:
I just want to enjoy hairstyling with each of you even more.
I hope to create each hairstyle together as if it were a “session” — a mutual dialogue built on respect.

In order to bring this heartfelt intention to life, I have decided to revise uraura’s menu and pricing.
Thank you for your patience while I took the time to prepare this announcement.
As a private salon by appointment only, this change is meant to ensure we can continue spending meaningful time together.
The new menu and pricing will take effect from November 1, 2025.

To continue nurturing healthy hair and scalp care into the future, all menus (except for acid straight) now include both a haircut and care.

1️⃣ Cut Course

Each appointment is a special session of technique and conversation.
Rather than just “maintaining” your hair, let’s focus on “nurturing” your style together.

• All prices are tax-exclusive.
• Chemical services are based on short-hair pricing (length: approximately from eyes to mid-ear to 3cm below nape).
• Final price may vary depending on hair length, product amount, and design.

• Scalp care includes cleansing with carbonated shampoo to remove buildup and residuals, plus moisture and nutrients replenished via head spa treatments such as Villa Lodola.
• Hair care is custom-blended using products like oggiotto, Olaplex, N. Kerarefine, and TOKIO Inkarami.
• Kids’ cuts (up to elementary school age): ¥8,500 (no scalp or hair treatment).
• Those under 18, international exchange students, and beauty school students receive 30% off (excluding acid straight). Valid ID required.

To maintain a balance of physical energy, creativity, and long-term salon sustainability, the following services will be discontinued:
• Root retouch / Color only / Gray coverage only / Bleach (except highlights)
• Hair manicures
• Eyebrow cut & eyebrow color
• Traditional straightening (acid straight will continue)
• Kimono dressing, hair setting, and makeup
• Same-day cut + perm + color
• Front bangs trim

I will continue to offer thoughtful, sustainable alternatives. Here are some ideas:
• Root retouch / Color only → Suggested as part of the Color Course with Session Cut
• Bleach → Recommend foil highlights instead
• Hair manicures → Use of alkaline dye with scalp & hair protection
• Eyebrow cut & color → Recommend high-quality brow mascara and eyebrow shaver
• Gray coverage only → Offered via Color Course with natural blending using highlights/lowlights
　Also home care options: Villa Lodola box color, color shampoos & treatments
• Same-day cut + perm + color → Recommend spacing appointments one month apart to reduce hair stress
